Sorry it's been so long, but my goodness, it's been a busy/productive couple weeks! Since I last wrote, we had three days of garage sales, moved my grandpa to his new home, lead an Orphan Awareness meeting at church, lost a dear friend, did our last home study visit, completed a lot of paperwork, and worked our typical hours at work.
Needless to say, I'm glad to be back on the blog - I've truly felt like I've been neglecting a big part of my life by putting this post off for as long as I have!
So I'm sure you are wondering how the garage sale went, (or at least I hope you are)! Without further ado, here are the garage sale results:
With the donations of over 12 families/individuals,
and thanks to the help of 10 volunteers,
over the course of three days we raised about
$1,100!!
We feel so blessed to have had so many people donate and volunteer their time and energy to help us make this garage sale the success it was!
I just want to do a special shout out to a few people who's many hours helping us made it all possible:
- Maurina & Blake Rondeau
- Kimberly Haugen
- Kaitlin Cormican
- Pamela Cormican
- Jill Ryder
There are many cool stories to share from the garage sale, and I plan to post them soon, so check back for some inspiring stories, soon!
